Trust Membership

Membership of the Members and Board of Trustees is based on the skill and competence requirements of each entity to ensure a full range of experience across the Trust.

Andrew Lloyd, Chair

Andrew Lloyd

 

Andrew has enjoyed a career in local government spanning over 40 years. He retired in 2016 from his last position as Chief Executive after 20 years in the role.

He currently Chairs a local Clinical Commissioning Group and is a Trustee of Reading Force - a national charity aimed at putting reading at the heart of families, with a particular focus on bringing Armed Forces children and families closer together through a shared joy of reading books. He is also a Board Member of Enterprise First Ltd, a not for profit company providing free advice to start-up businesses across Surrey, Hampshire and Kent, and a Trustee with the Farnborough Air Sciences Trust.

Andrew has long had a passion for education and skill having served as Vice Chairman of the former Hampshire and Isle of White Learning and Skills Council for many years and also a former Vice Chairman of Farnborough College of Technology.

Andrew has had a long association with The Sixth Form College Farnborough including serving on the Corporation as Chair of the Search and Remuneration Committee until it became an Academy within The Prospect Trust.

Catherine Anwar, is the Chief Executive Officer of Ninestiles Academy Trust. Prior to this, Catherine was a Senior Her Majesty’s Inspector for Ofsted and served 8 years as a secondary school headteacher in Hampshire. In her role at Ofsted, Catherine led focused reviews of Multi-Academy Trusts, and inspections of complex academies, and free schools.

   

 Neil Hopkins, OBE

Neil was, from 1993 to 2013, the principal of Peter Symonds College. Since taking early retirement, he has at various times been an adviser to the national Sixth Form & FE Commissioners, Executive Director and Policy Adviser to the Maple Group of high-performing sixth form colleges, and undertaken educational consultancy. He is Chair of Governors at Sparsholt & Andover College, a trustee of the RACPD charity, and a school governor.

Neil taught in areas as diverse as Salford and Rutland, spending many years on the boards of the AOC and UCAS, and on the council of ASCL. He has a BSc in Maths and and MEd. He was awarded an OBE in 2014, for services to education.

   

Brandon O'Reilly

 

Brandon O’Reilly has been TAG Farnborough Airport’s chief executive since November 2006. His responsibility is to deliver a world-class, bespoke airport experience for business aviation customers.

TAG Farnborough is the premier business aviation airport in Europe and O’Reilly is leading further infrastructure development and capacity enhancement to address continuing growth in demand.

Brandon has over 30 years’ experience in the aviation industry including senior positions with British Airways, American Airlines and United Airlines; he is also a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
